Researchers from ¶¶Òõapp¹ÙÍø have been awarded more than $2.9 million through the scheme to develop early health interventions.

and will lead projects in collaboration with other researchers, clinicians and industry experts to inform health policy and practice.

Professor Hides was awarded more than $1.4 million to lead the development of an early intervention model of care to treat alcohol and other drug use.

The team will collaborate with researchers from the Network of Alcohol and other Drugs Agencies, Queensland Network of Alcohol and Other Drugs Agencies, Lives Lived Well and other institutions to improve outcomes for patients and healthcare providers.

Professor Gallo received more than $1.4 million to lead the evaluation of the validity and feasibility of an early detection test for ovarian cancer.

The team will work in partnership with the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation, Lion Medical Research Foundation, and other institutions to help reduce diagnosis at advanced stages of disease.
